SAFE: Supporting Access to Justice, Fostering Equity and Peace  

(USAID-SAFE Programme), a five-year development program (2012 – 2017), aims to strengthen the Government of Uganda’s (GoU) capacity with respect to peace building and conflict mitigation. The SAFE Program supports a core set of activities in two component areas: “Access to Justice” and “Peace and Reconciliation“. Grants are awarded under both of these components to support activities central to the SAFE Program’s objectives.
